Understanding the dashboard
A quick tour of every widget and what it tells you about your finances.
The FinTrack dashboard gives you a real-time view of your financial health for the current month. Here is what each section shows.
- Net balance — your total income minus total expenses for the current month, with a percentage change vs last month.
- Financial Health Score — a calculated score reflecting how well your income, spending, savings, and goals are aligned.
- Stat cards — four key metrics side by side: This Month's Income, This Month's Expense, Net Cashflow, and Savings Rate.
- Monthly cashflow chart — a month-by-month bar chart of income vs expenses across the year.
- Weekly spending chart — your spending broken down by week within the current month.
- Spending heatmap — a calendar view showing which days of the month had the highest spend.
- Spending breakdown — your top spending categories for the current month as a visual breakdown.
- Recent Activity — a log of your latest actions across all features: transactions added, goals updated, budgets changed, and more.
