My payment failed — what do I do?

If a payment fails, your account reverts to the Free plan immediately.

If your renewal payment fails for any reason, your account reverts to the Free plan immediately. There is no grace period.

Warning

Pro features are disabled as soon as a payment fails. Your data is never deleted — you just lose access to Pro-only functionality until you resubscribe.

Common reasons & fixes

  • Expired card — update your card details and resubscribe from Settings → Account.
  • Insufficient funds — ensure your card has enough balance, then resubscribe.
  • Card declined by bank — try a different card or contact your bank, then resubscribe.
  • 3DS authentication required — your bank may require additional verification. Check your email or banking app for a prompt, then resubscribe.

Note

To restore Pro access, go to Settings → Account and subscribe again. Your previous data, budgets, and goals are all intact.
